Air Barrier Systems

Air Barrier Systems

Help save your business on energy expenses by keeping external air out and internal air in with an air barrier system.

Why You Need an Air Barrier System

We know that you want to keep your building comfortable and energy-efficient and an air barrier system is designed to do just that! When air is able to exit or enter a building, hot and cool spots will develop throughout the space. The solution to this problem is an air barrier system.

Types of Air Barrier Systems

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF)

This system will provide insulation and an air barrier. When used on the exterior of the building, it can also provide the vapor barrier and drainage plane to prevent any moisture from trying to enter the building.

Fluid Applied Systems

Products such as these are applied as a fluid spray. They can be vapor permeable or vapor barriers depending on what type is needed in the building design. They form a monolithic barrier that can keep the air and water where it belongs.

Self-Adhered Systems

As a more cost-effective way to create an air barrier, these systems are installed in more conventional techniques. They can be applied over other materials to provide the air barrier that is needed.

Certified Air Barrier Installers

Our team is certified to install commercial air barrier systems from Prosoco, Henry, W.R. Meadows SealTight, and Carlisle. Installing an air barrier system will have a noticeable impact on the comfort of a building. It will allow the building to maintain a consistent temperature at a much lower cost for energy.
